What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make services work correctly and to understand how visitors use the site. WhatsOnCPH complies with Danish cookie regulations (Cookiebekendtgørelsen) and the EU ePrivacy Directive.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the service to function and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-* (Supabase) | Authentication session — keeps you logged in | Session / 1 week |
| wocph-analytics-consent | Remembers your cookie consent choice (stored in browser local storage, not a cookie) | Until cleared |
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
We use PostHog to understand how visitors use WhatsOnCPH — which pages you visit, your device and browser type, and approximate location (city-level, derived from IP address). This helps us improve the site. These cookies are only set if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner; declining sets no analytics cookies at all. Data is processed by PostHog EU on servers within the European Union.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| ph_* | Distinguishes visitors for traffic and usage analytics | Up to 1 year |
Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without breaking the service. You can change your analytics consent at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer, which brings the consent banner back. You can also clear all cookies at any time through your browser settings — note that doing so will log you out of WhatsOnCPH.
