Learn to bake Scandinavian cinnamon and cardamom buns while discovering a local neighbourhood through the eyes of young local hosts. Flere Fugle and a group of young locals from Copenhagen's Nordvest district have teamed up with Wonderful Copenhagen to offer a unique baking experience where you'll take home both local culture and freshly baked pastries. During the workshop, you'll be guided through the process and techniques behind shaping the perfect Danish cinnamon and cardamom bun. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to learn about Nordvest from the young locals who live and shape the neighbourhood every day. While the buns are proofing, we'll take a walk through the area. Our young local hosts will guide you to selected places and share stories about the people, communities and cultural diversity that make Nordvest one of Copenhagen's most vibrant and evolving districts. At the end of the experience, you'll take home freshly baked pastries, a recipe for Flere Fugle's delicious vegan cinnamon and cardamom buns, and hopefully a deeper understanding of a part of Copenhagen that many visitors never get to experience from the inside.
