Come and sing in the Absalon Daytime Choir!

Absalon’s Daytime Choir is for anyone who is free during the day and would like to try singing in a choir as part of a fun and welcoming community. You don’t need any previous choir experience — all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. We’ll sing a mix of contemporary music, Danish songs, folk songs, pop and rock. We’ll start gently with unison singing and gradually build from there, so you can learn how to hold your own vocal part. What’s most important is that you are willing to try your best and have fun with singing with other singers. It is not required that you can read music. We look forward to seeing you! About our choir leader Aleksandra Raczynska is a graduate of Choir Conducting and Jazz Vocal Performance from the Music Conservatory in Gdansk, Poland. Now based in Copenhagen, she has been performing, teaching singing and leading choirs for several years, sharing her passion for music with individuals and communities. Practical info We meet in Tårnværelset on the 3rd floor in Absalon. You get there by taking the stairs up by the entrance. There is no elevator. The class is taught in English. We meet for 8 weeks on Tuesdays, starting October 27th to December 15th from 13:30-15. It costs 800 kr. to join. You can buy your ticket below. Tickets are non-refundable and can t be changed to another date.
