Then join us every Wednesday from 19.15-20.15 on this 9 week course in Absalon. Get ready to move, have fun and explore the colourful world of Bollywood dance. In this course, you will be introduced to characteristic Bollywood steps, expressive hand gestures, dynamic movements and the playful energy in Bollywood dance. We will start by breaking down the steps and movements, giving you time to get comfortable with them and find your own way of moving. Step by step we will build on what we have learned and eventually bring the movements together into a short choreography. No previous dance experience is needed, the focus is on having fun, finding the rhythm and enjoying the movement together. Expect music, energy and a chance to let loose. Come as you are, bring your curiosity and let’s dance! Bollywood dance is a contemporary film-dance style that emerged from the Hindi film industry in Mumbai, India.
